Melanie Biggadike

In my 62yrs I have had several very varying jobs and gained qualifications from forestry and agriculture to being a swimming coach. I've worked on arable farms and have done many years lambing in Scotland. I have flown and looked after birds of prey, various other animals, butterflies and reptiles at a tourist attraction in South Lincolnshire.

After my daughter left for University, I needed a challenge to take my mind off that and even into my 50's was awarded the chance to work in a brand new vet practice. I started off as a receptionist and by the time I had been in 2 practices, I had been Head Nurse, qualified as an RVN and gained my certificate in anaesthesia.
At present, I have two dogs....a big red Labrador and Bedlington Lurcher, one cat, a parrot, a cockerel and a few chickens.
