Katherine Wynn-Owen

Clinical Director, Clinical Excellence Manager, Senior Vet

Katherine qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2006 and has worked at mixed and small animal practices in the UK before joining Animates in November 2011. Katherine is our Clinical Excellence Manager ensuring clinical excellence and direction by creating a practice culture based on high quality patient care.

Katherine has a post graduate BSAVA certificate in emergency and critical care which she passed with distinction and is an RCVS recognised advanced practitioner in emergency and critical care. She also has an interest in ultrasonography and is currently working towards an Internal Medicine Certificate.

Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and their cats Rinca and Flores, horse riding, playing netball and socialising with friends. She has a keen interest in conservation and during her time at university completed an intercalated degree in veterinary conservation medicine. She enjoys travelling and has previously volunteered as a vet at an Orang-utan reintroduction centre in Indonesia.
